Buying or selling a home normally takes two to three months and it is a legal requirement that sellers must provide a Government Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) within 28 days putting their house on the market. An EPC is valid for 10 years and shows how good the energy efficiency of the property is. It grades the property’s energy efficiency from A to G, with A being the highest rating. A certificate is required whenever a property is built, sold or rented. We can arrange for a local domestic energy assessor to complete this service.

Whilst we fully embrace internet marketing we recommend the services of a local solicitor for conveyancing and the services of a local independent financial advisor, who can assist with mortgages, agreed in principle mortgages (AIPs) and insurance.
